THE federal government has announced an additional $3.5 million to ensure the eagerly anticipated Geelong City Deal is one step closer.<\/p>\n

This new federal funding, which is on top of an existing $2 million federal commitment, will contribute $5.5 million to public infrastructure works and a wave attenuator to protect the harbour from incoming waves, ensuring a more enjoyable experience for those on land and on water.<\/p>\n
