About 100 people attended the Remembrance Sunday service at Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve to pay their respects and lay wreaths.<\/p>\n

Geelong RSL president Mark Lee, Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve secretary Jeff Harriott, Reverend Peter Jewell from the Grovedale Uniting Church, Geelong Legacy Club president John Delia, who gave a commemorative address about Legacy’s work locally, and local student Skylah Helps, who read a poem, were the speakers on the day.<\/p>\n
