SEQUENCE Osteopathy’s passion for taking care of people extends far beyond the treatment rooms, with a new initiative helping tackle pain in the community.<\/p>\n

Osteopathy is a holistic manual medicine and the highly skilled team at Sequence Osteopathy treat their patients from top to toe, getting to the bottom of their pain.<\/p>\n

The Torquay business’s latest offering is all about giving back to the Surf Coast, giving two community members each month the chance to receive one complimentary osteopathic treatment.<\/p>\n

With the Sequence Community Grant, the complimentary sessions are designed to provide care, comfort and support for somebody struggling financially or going through a difficult time.<\/p>\n

Often, as people approach the end of the year, Sequence Osteopathy director Rebecca Burns said, they are running out of private health insurance coverage and others just can’t afford it.<\/p>\n

“This is a way for somebody to nominate a friend, a family member, or themselves that feel they could benefit from trying osteo and it is open to new or existing patients.”<\/p>\n

Sequence Osteopathy goes out of their way to understand the pain their patient is experiencing, working with them to not just treat the area, but also the areas around it.<\/p>\n

The dedicated team is made up of experienced professionals who are all university trained with two degrees and well allied with health practitioners.<\/p>\n

More than just back pain and spines, Sequence Osteopathy look after the entire body, treating muscles, feet, hands, jaws and much more.<\/p>\n

“It’s a really good option for people that are looking for any kind of muscular or skeletal treatment,” Burns said.<\/p>\n

“The thing that differentiates us is that we don’t have just a formula \u2026 the treatment is tailored to fit the individual.”<\/p>\n

During treatment, the team take their time, listen and diagnose, using a combination of hands-on therapy and some rehabilitation exercises to ensure people are clear about the ongoing plan.<\/p>\n
