SURF film lovers will flock to the Australian National Surfing Museum next week for the launch of the 15th edition of the Bells Beach Surf Film Festival.<\/p>\n

The world’s best surf films will return to Torquay from January 2 to 4, with more than 15 titles set to hit the screen.<\/p>\n

Australia’s longest-running surf film festival, the event showcases a mix of local and international productions to a wide and enthusiastic audience each year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Festival director, John Foss, said he was thrilled with the strength and variety of the 2026 program.<\/p>\n

“We are stoked to be bringing some fantastic surf films to Torquay in 2026. Opening night on Friday 2rd January features the amazing Jujo: The Musical plus Changing Tempo and Le Jardin, which explores incredible waves in Morocco,” he said.<\/p>\n

“We are also excited to be showing some old school style Super 8mm surf films: My Malibu and Home, filmed and edited by Ella Bourne and local filmmaker Katey Shearer.<\/p>\n

“Closing night we have the award-winning Bee Hives and Bottom Turns, plus a surprise big wave film. Fifteen amazing surf films to celebrate our 15th anniversary.”<\/p>\n

Doors open at 7.30pm each night, with films starting at 8pm.<\/p>\n
