Eleven culinary leaders from premier restaurants across the region will be lending their time to help raise vital funds for local health services on 13 March.<\/p>\n
Among those to be lighting up a flame will be Hamo Hospitality pair Cory Hyde and Eli Grubb. The star duo is responsible for running the kitchens at 1915, Woolstore, The Retreat, Paddock and MexiCams.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hyde said he was thrilled to be involved in this year’s Geelong’s Longest Lunch.<\/p>\n “It’s very exciting. We never get to see all the other chefs and get to be in the same room, so it’s great to just catch up,” he said.<\/p>\n “Obviously it’s incredibly important to come together and raise money for the Barwon Health Foundation. It’s amazing that we get to do our little bit to influence the outcome.”<\/p>\n Barwon Health Foundation executive director Zoe Waters said the event continues to be one of the foundation’s most important and anticipated fundraisers.<\/p>\n “Geelong’s Longest Lunch is a true celebration of our region, our chefs, our producers and our community,” Waters said.<\/p>\n “With Simon Toohey hosting in 2026, we’re excited to deliver an event that is not only unforgettable, but one that makes a real difference by supporting vital equipment, research, treatment and care at Barwon Health.”<\/p>\n Toohey said he was thrilled to be part of the much-loved charity event.<\/p>\n Tickets are $180 and include canapes and cocktails on arrival, a three-course lunch with matched wines, live entertainment, raffles and auctions.<\/p>\n For more, head to the Barwon Health Foundation website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" GEELONG’S top chefs will be showcasing the very best local produce at this year’s Geelong’s Longest Lunch.
