The bakery&#8217;s specialty offering has been firmly established, alongside a menu that continues\u00a0to evolve.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want this place to have a reputation as the best coffee, the best food with quality service and an atmosphere to boot,&#8221; Edgar said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_183849\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-183849\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-183849\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/IMG_3187_25869-1-rotated.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"857\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-183849\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The new outdoor space enhances customer experience and gives off a new warm vibe. Photo: Nathan Rivalland.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It can&#8217;t just be another cafe, it can&#8217;t just be another bakery, it&#8217;s not acceptable, it&#8217;s not enough.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You have to have staff that are happy, you&#8217;ve got to have product that they&#8217;re proud of and customers will see that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A broader range of wraps has also been introduced, offering lighter options alongside the bakery&#8217;s traditional favourites, while a $16 tradie deal is helping cater to the area&#8217;s working community.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re really embracing the locals and the tradies that work within the area and following their lead in what they want and ensuring that it&#8217;s good, delicious food with amazing coffee,&#8221; Edgar said.<\/p>\n<p>The bakery&#8217;s signature pastry selection remains a major drawcard, with more than 30 options available each day, including croissants, cronuts, muffins, scrolls and doughnuts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/IMG_3201_25888.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Maple Bakery is based in the Torquay industrial estate. Photo: Nathan Rivalland.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Outside, the front seating area has been transformed and is now framed by bold yellow and white awnings.<\/p>\n<p>Edgar said the space had been designed as a &#8220;destination&#8221;, a more inviting place to sit and stay.<\/p>\n<p>As Easter arrives, the focus is on continuing to build on the bakery&#8217;s growing reputation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re off and running now,&#8221; Edgar said. &#8220;We&#8217;re looking forward to an amazing Easter and a great 2026.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Maple Bakery is at Unit 40\/10 Cylinders Drive, Torquay.
