ST Therese Primary School is calling on former students, teachers and families to help tell the story of its first 40 years ahead of a milestone anniversary celebration later this year.<\/p>\n

The Torquay school will mark four decades of Catholic education and community connection with a two-day celebration on 16 and 17 October.<\/p>\n

Organisers are encouraging past members of the school community to contribute photographs, memorabilia and personal stories to help document the school’s history and recognise the people who have shaped it since opening in 1986.<\/p>\n

Classroom teacher Marisa Joseph said preparations had been underway since the start of the school year.<\/p>\n

“We are so excited and can’t wait to showcase our amazing school community while we celebrate the past with some very special guests and look towards the future,” she said.<\/p>\n

The celebrations will provide an opportunity for past and present members of the school community to reconnect while reflecting on the school’s history and its role in Torquay over the past 40 years.<\/p>\n
