The bowls club is now preparing for a busy winter calendar, with appearances from comedian Peter Helliar, Drag Bingo and performers from The Piano Bar already locked in.<\/p>\n
“Winter is a tricky time on the Surf Coast for hospitality, but regardless people still want to get out and be social,” Routley said.<\/p>\n
“We are excited with what we’ve got to come. It worked really well for us at my past venues, and we are sure it’ll be a hit here as well.”<\/p>\n
With competitive bowls on hiatus over winter, Routley said the coming months provided the perfect opportunity for locals to experience the changes at the bowls club.<\/p>\n
“The space we’ve got is exceptional,” he said.<\/p>\n
“It’s a real hub of the community and it gives us a great sense of purpose to set Torquay on the right course.<\/p>\n
