As a locally owned and operated business, much of their success can be attributed to the amazing support from the local community.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Torquay Books was awarded Regional Bookshop of the year by Leading Edge, a fitting accolade for previous owner Rosemary Featherston, who established the bookshop 14 years ago.<\/p>\n

Torquay Books\u2019 new owner Lynne Main aims to continue where Rosemary left off and has recently upgraded the website showing all the books on the shelves in real time.<\/p>\n

Lynne views the shop as a treasure trove. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s lovely to see customers taking their time browsing through the shelves. It is such a unique shop in that you are able to find a gift for family and friends of any age, male or female\u201d.<\/p>\n

The dedicated staff at Torquay Books go out of their way to assist customers in finding books for them, even going so far as to order books in from overseas.<\/p>\n

They are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and reading extensively themselves so they are better able to make recommendations.<\/p>\n
