{"id":19179,"date":"2018-11-01T07:55:59","date_gmt":"2018-10-31T20:55:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=19179"},"modified":"2018-11-01T18:14:29","modified_gmt":"2018-11-01T07:14:29","slug":"falls-to-go-bonkers-as-dizzee-joings-line-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/living\/falls-to-go-bonkers-as-dizzee-joings-line-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Falls to go bonkers as Dizzee joings line up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Another 13 acts have been added to the Falls Festival 2018\/2019 star-studded lineup, including English rapper Dizzee Rascal, best known for his UK number one hit \u201cBonkers\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just 18 when his album Boy In Da Corner came out, Dizzee Rascal has spent a lifetime in the spotlight \u2013 defining a genre that didn\u2019t yet exist.<\/p>\n<p>Amassing Mercury Prizes, Brit Awards and several massive albums, including the aforementioned debut, Maths + English, Tongue n\u2019 Cheek and last year\u2019s brilliant Raskit.<\/p>\n<p>His hits \u201cBonkers\u201d, \u201cDance Wiv Me\u201d and \u201cHoliday\u201d, have ensured Dizzee Rascal\u2019s icon status.<\/p>\n<p>Aussie electronic outfit Cut Copy join Dizzee in Lorne with their new album Haiku from Zero after returning last year from a four-year hiatus.<\/p>\n<p>Serving up unstoppable, ecstatic electronic energy, Cut Copy are the masters behind hits \u201cTake Me Over\u201d, \u201cHeart on Fire\u201d, and \u201cLights &#038; Music\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Also announced Chicago rapper Juice WRLD and former MS MR frontwoman LPX, indie-folk outfit Little May, Melbourne\u2019s Amyl &#038; The Sniffers, and Slowly Slowly.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, tickets to the Byron Bay and Lorne legs of Falls Festival both sold out in record time, selling out in less than an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Falls Festival first announced its 2018\/2019 lineup back in August, naming the likes of Anderson .Paak &#038; The Free Nationals, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Vance Joy and CHVRCHES as headliners.<\/p>\n<p>The Lorne edition of the festival officially sold out in September, but the other dates remain for sale.
