Member for Bellarine Lisa Neville will open the exhibit at The Mill, which offers a wide selection of watercolour, oils and acrylics, from realism to whimsical. Exhibiting for more than 15 years, the U3A Artists of Portarlington\u2019s art exhibition is open every Saturday and Sunday<br \/>\nfrom November 10 to 25 between noon and 4pm. It\u2019s at \u201cThe Mill\u201d in Turner Court Portarlington, entry costs $5 (concession available) to assist in the upkeep of The Mill \u2013 a National Trust Property. For more details contact Patricia on 03 5259 2179.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SATURDAY 10\/11<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Any Given Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Head along and watch the Torquay Theatre Troupe\u2019s latest performance, Any Given Monday by Bruce Graham. Directed by Gay Bell, the play explores a heady range of topics- violence, racism, loyalty, religion, conscience, free will; all of which is right up philosophy student Sarah\u2019s (Lenny\u2019s daughter played by Siobhan Linde) alley. The story centres around Mickey (played by Michael Baker) who is on a mission to save his friend Lenny (played by Fred Preston) from himself. The show will be running at 16 Price Street in Torquay. Tickets are $23\/$20, search \u201cAny Given Monday\u201d at trybooking.com.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SUNDAY 11\/11<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>We will remember them<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday November 11 marks 100 years since the end of World War I. On behalf of the Surf Coast Shire council, Torquay RSL will be holding its annual Remembrance Day Service at Point Danger commencing at 10.40am sharp with the Last Post and flyover taking place at 11am. There will be a sausage sizzle after the service and the Salvation Army Band will be playing in the area until 3pm.
