Spring Creek Community House celebrated 25 years of serving the community during two events last week. More than 100 people turned out on Thursday to mark the milestone, which included a day program boasting visual history displays throughout the house, various activities and workshops by current community house groups, and a community kitchen morning tea. The local men\u2019s shed also ran a barbecue and there was a roving tea trolley. The night program featured welcome champagne and nibbles, and singing from local men\u2019s shed volunteers, Welcome to the Country and smoking ceremony and official presentations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
