Fifty-five golfers hit the course in nice, sunny conditions. It was Brian Roberts [30] who finished up as today\u2019s winner, finishing on an excellent score of Nett 65. Kevin Donchi [18] was runner up, finishing three shots behind on Nett 68. The ball pool ran down the line to Nett 72, with Scott Rixon showing the rest of the competition how to play the Par 3\u2019s, taking home both of the nearest to pins (5th hole, 1.49m and 13th hole, 1.08m).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday November 22<\/strong><br \/>\nPar off the Red Tees for the Ladies in today\u2019s competition. Susan Browne [17] was the outright winner on +1, while the ball pool ran down the line to -1. The nearest to pins on the day went to Jan Swain (5th hole) and Dot Tattersall (13th hole).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday November 24<\/strong><br \/>\n4BBB Stableford off the Blue Tees for the Men today. One hundred golfers (50 teams) battled the miserable conditions that were served up to them and bravely hit the course. Shane McGrath and Ro Currie cleaned up the competition today with 45 points one clear of the field. Kevin Donchi and Leighton Bullock came in second place with 44 points on a five way count back. The ball pool went down to 42 on a countback. NTP for the day went to Phil Eltringham, Michael McAllum, Damian Chester and Angus McKoy. Marj Bayard and Faye Hay won the ladies competition with 49 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday November 25<\/strong><br \/>\nGreat day for golf with low wind throughout the day, today\u2019s winner was Trevor Wilson (27) on 41 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRO SHOP NEWS<\/strong><br \/>\nBuy any polo top, shorts or pants and get the second item half price.
