OVER 20 creatives from the 3228 area are gathering together at Peppers The Sands Resort Torquay to showcase their talent and sell locally made goods just in time for Christmas.<\/p>\n
Several brands including Tea Thief, Willow & Bach, Michy Ann, Spankd body scrubs, Sunkissed Torquay, Yogi Peace Club and many more will be setting up shop on Thursday December 13 from 5pm.<\/p>\n
Event organiser Brodie Bos, owner of Surfcoast Beauty and Eyota Clothing, hopes locals in the community will come along to show their support for a night of fun.<\/p>\n
\u201cI decided to organise this local market to showcase some of the talented people we have in our town,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll stall holders are local to Torquay or Jan Juc and either design or handmake their products.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have just over 20 stallholders on board as well as three local young musicians busking at the event.\u201d<\/p>\n
The market is being held at the Sands Resort in the Balmoral room.<\/p>\n
The bar inside the function room will be open to enjoy a drink while you browse and shop.<\/p>\n
Food will also be on offer from the Sands Restaurant. Entry to the market is free. Further details can be found on Facebook.<\/p>\n
Brodie said she is excited to give artisans in the area a platform to offer their products.<\/p>\n
