BAD weather led to the unfortunate cancellation of Torquay Carols by the Sea not long after it started on Saturday night. The annual Christmas celebration at Elephant Walk at The Esplanade had artists including Willow Star, Di Makings and Jessica Sherman on the bill, as well as local school groups and carol singers, but organisers called off the event early
\ndue to the rain and safety issues posed by the electrical equipment and the wet stage. Everyone involved was extremely
