Earlier this month, Minister for Public Transport Melissa Horne said from term 1 next year, school students will be able to use their PTVapproved school identification card to get concession travel on public transport. The change will mean students at participating schools no longer need to arrange, pay<br \/>\nfor and carry the dedicated PTV School Student ID.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abalone poachers\u00a0<\/strong><strong>busted near Port Fairy<\/strong><br \/>\nA GOOD Samaritan\u2019s phone call to the 13FISH hotline helped Fisheries Officers apprehend four men near Port Fairy allegedly in possession of 80 abalone, half of which were undersize. The daily catch limit is five abalone per person, and the four men face penalties, including fines of up to $30,000 and\/or 12 months imprisonment.
