The Furphy Outdoor Cinema at Little Creatures Brewery Geelong is back in January 2019, with a series of cracking classic \u201890s films.<\/p>\n
For a third summer, the outdoor cinema returns and launches on Wednesday January 9 with Spielberg\u2019s original Jurassic Park.<\/p>\n
A brilliant weekly line-up ensues, including Tarantino\u2019s Pulp Fiction, Adam Sandler\u2019s Happy Gilmore and finishing the summer off with Brad Pitt in Fight Club.<\/p>\n
Furphy creator and craft technical brewer, Warren Pawsey, said the cinema had become a key event on the Brewery\u2019s annual calendar.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Furphy Outdoor Cinema has grown into an annual highlight for the Geelong brewery. Furphy is all about bringing people together to share a story over a cold beer, and the outdoor cinema is a fantastic space to bring this to life,\u201d Mr Pawsey said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can sit under the stars amongst the working brewery, and watch a classic film with friends and family, whilst enjoying a cold beer.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Little Creatures delivery area transforms into the wondrous Furphy Outdoor Cinema with festoon lighting, double beanbags, deck chairs and a Furphy Bar, with entry via the Little Creatures Canteen. As part of your ticket, you\u2019ll receive a complimentary Furphy refreshing ale, entry into the Outdoor Cinema space, and your seat (on a first in best dressed basis).<\/p>\n
There is a bar within the space serving Furphy, of course, as well as Little Creatures\u2019 Dog Days, Cider, house wine, soft drink, as well as a popcorn machine and an ice-cream bike.<\/p>\n
The Furphy Outdoor Cinema will run weekly from Wednesday January 9 through to the January 30, with gates opening around 8pm and movies beginning at sundown, around 9pm.<\/p>\n
