\ntheir winemaking business to Bambra, just 30 minutes from the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n
The husband and wife duo have opened their doors to patrons this summer, offering tastings and sales of their handcrafted, award-winning wines.<\/p>\n
Having established the boutique winery in 1996, the duo drew upon extensive winemaking experiences from France, Portugal and Australia.<\/p>\n
Both winemakers, they produce premium wines using grapes grown at their Bendigo vineyards and bought from friends\u2019 vineyards in Heathcote.<\/p>\n
Over the last two decades they have become widely recognised as one of Australia\u2019s leading producers of red wines
\nfrom the Bendigo and Heathcote wine regions; they\u2019ve received a 5-star rating in James Halliday Wine Companions for
\n12 years, as well as winning numerous national and international awards.<\/p>\n
The Morris\u2019 have built a new, custom designed winery and commenced groundworks for a vineyard to offer another dimension to the range of wines they currently produce under their two brands: Pondalowie and Pinga Wines.<\/p>\n
Head down to Pondalowie and meet Krystina and Dominic at their Bambra cellar door and let them guide you through a tasting of their amazing wines.<\/p>\n
Observe first hand where and how the wines are made as the cellar door is uniquely housed within their working winery.<\/p>\n
The Pondalowie cellar door is signposted with a brown winery tourism sign on the Deans Marsh-Winchelsea Road at Bambra and will be open 12-5pm every day from Boxing Day to Australia Day and by appointment thereafter.<\/p>\n
