Geelong\u2019s hottest new venue Murphys is coming to life for the first time over summer, with their Rooftop Bar and the launch of its brand-new third-level Sky Garden.<\/p>\n
Murphys Rooftop was built for long summer days and warm summer nights, and with a view over the bay, it\u2019s the perfect place to watch the ships roll in and world go by.<\/p>\n
Co-owner Shaun Aspinall said that the Rooftop and Sky Garden had been designed specifically for summer \u2013 from the fit-out and views to the cocktail list and menu items.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom the get-go we designed the Rooftop and Sky Garden with summer in mind. You\u2019ve got views of the bay, you\u2019re tucked away from the city and you\u2019re high up in Geelong West,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAdd ice cold beer, crispy wines, a fresh cocktail list and a distinct summer vibe menu \u2013 and you\u2019ve got the perfect place to spend a summer\u2019s day.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot to mention, our third-level Sky Garden that has a panoramic 270-degree view of Geelong, is soon to be complete with a bar and open to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Aspinall said they\u2019d also launched brunch on the rooftop every Sunday from 10.30am over summer.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not your typical bottomless brunch though \u2013 there\u2019s no fixed pricedtickets or finger food. It\u2019s a la carte with everything from eggs benedict to house made muesli, or you can just simply enjoy a latte and Geelong\u2019s best Rooftop views.\u201d<\/p>\n
The boys behind Murphys are helping make this the best summer yet in Geelong.<\/p>\n
Located at 30 Aberdeen Street, Geelong West, Murphys is open seven days a week, with weekday specials and live music and live sport every weekend.<\/p>\n
