THE Christmas season rolled past quickly with the club\u2019s annual break-up attracting a good festive turnout. Doris Wendler, Ben Coyle and Geoff Lydom took the honours on the green.<\/p>\n

Round 3 of the Sovereign Financial Triples was won by Keith Hornibrook, Ben Coyle and Terry Hope. They now trail aggregate leaders Graeme Mathias, Noel Johns and Lew Wilson by only three points, with the next round due to be played on Monday 21st January.<\/p>\n

Tradies Day saw many of Anglesea\u2019s tradies play some highly competitive bowls, enjoy Christmas conviviality and raise money to help one of their colleagues overcome serious medical problems.<\/p>\n

Entering 2019, substantial investments by the Federal Government, Surf Coast Shire and the Club to build a new clubhouse are already reaping rewards for club and community.<\/p>\n

Club membership is rising. Community use of the facilities has surged. More visitors are adding to their holiday experience. The Club is booming with regular bowlers and guests enjoying good bowling and spacious, modern clubrooms. Bar, music and bistro are producing a great atmosphere. A huge thanks to those volunteers who have serviced an unexpectedly busy schedule.<\/p>\n

The 2019 Bendigo Bank Triples for Triers has commenced with full rinks each Thursday evening. Pennant has resumed and the club is still a flag prospect.<\/p>\n

BOWLS SCHEDULE<\/strong>
\nAnyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the Club.<\/p>\n

Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (1.00pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11.00am by noticeboard entry, phone or email.<\/p>\n

Casual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.<\/p>\n

Friday Social: Afternoon Practice. Happy Hour, Raffle, Members Draw and Meals from 5pm.<\/p>\n
