THE Victorian Surf Rowers League (VSRL) held the third and final round of its state team selection trials at Anglesea on Sunday, with several Surf Coast crews winning and\/or gaining selection for next month\u2019s interstate championships.<\/p>\n

Torquay SLSC crews won three of their categories (Torquay Buoyos in U\/19 Men, Torquay Pirates in U\/23 Men and Torquay Lightning in Open Women) while Lorne SLSC won two (Lorne UniLornes in Reserve Women and Lorne Dry in Reserve Men).<\/p>\n

Torquay teams ultimately ended with a total of three gold, three silver and two bronze medals.<\/p>\n

Following the competition, the state team representatives were named. These included Torquay Buoyos in U\/19 Men, Torquay Pirates in U\/23 Men, Lorne Dry in Reserve Men, Lorne UniLornes in Reserve Women and Lorne Edge in Open Women.<\/p>\n

These crews will represent Victoria at the ASRL Open, which will be held at Elouera, New South Wales on February 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
