McCartney Real Estate\u2019s auction of 49 Beach Road Torquay over the weekend confirms that the Torquay market is still strong, and demand continues for properties that are priced accordingly.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s auction of this fourbedroom home on 601sqm saw it sold not long after the auction for $1,275,000 to Melbourne-based purchasers.<\/p>\n

McCartney director Tim Carson said that the interest in the property had been very good with over 70 people inspecting the property during the five week campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe went to market with an estimated price range of $1,250,000 to $1,300,000 and to get a result in between that was just great.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe buyers from Melbourne who were past McCartney clients an had just recently returned back from overseas couldn\u2019t be happier with their purchase.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe vendors, David and Bev Wilson,\u00a0\u00a0are extremely pleased with the result and have sold due to downsizing and are going to live between Torquay and Noosa in Queensland.<\/p>\n
