Razor Ride rolls through<\/strong>
\nA SIX-day ride from Ballarat to Melbourne to raise funds for mental health, loss and grief passed through the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula on Friday. The Chamberlain Foundation\u2019s Razor Ride was led by co-founder of the foundation and senior AFL field umpire \u201cRazor\u201d Ray Chamberlain and Australian cycling legend Phil Anderson. The 850km ride started in Ballarat on February 4 and travelled through regional Victoria and along the Great Ocean Road, with overnight stops in Halls Gap, Port Fairy, Port Campbell, Wye River and Rye.<\/p>\n

Bushfire museum to help\u00a0<\/strong>remember Black Saturday<\/strong>
\nTHE state government will create a new bushfire museum and education centre to raise awareness of the history, stories and lessons of the 2009 Victorian bushfires as well as other significant fires. The Bushfire Anniversary Advisory Group
\nhas recommended creating a bushfire museum with a reflective space to commemorate our past and educate generations into the future. The advisory group is chaired by John Brumby and includes former deputy premier and minister for emergency services Pat McNamara, Susan Pascoe and Ben Hubbard.<\/p>\n

Pilot program for adults\u00a0<\/strong>with Down syndrome<\/strong>
\nA NEW pilot program funded by the Liberal Nationals Government to educate and employ young adults with Down syndrome launched in Melbourne on Sunday. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and Assistant Minister for Social Services, Housing and Disability Services Sarah Henderson announced $300,000 in funding for the Impact21 pilot program, which will be
