The key to a great market is ensuring something for everyone, according to Janina Lear, creator and facilitator of the Piccadilly Market, which arrives to Mt Duneed on February 17.<\/p>\n
Featuring over 90 stalls (both indoor and outdoor) packed with market goodness, Ms Lear said the fact Piccadilly is a curated market, ensures only the best standard of products.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been around for 10 years and we\u2019ve done a few markets at Mt Duneed before but this will be our biggest yet. We\u2019ve grown from 30 to 90 stall holders which is fantastic \u2013 it\u2019s such a great day out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Lear said stall holders are predominantly local (around 70 percent) with others travelling down from Melbourne and across the state for the event.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s an application process where they send me through photos of their products. It\u2019s setup so it looks beautiful and we don\u2019t end up with 15 candlemakers. I go through everything with a fine-tooth comb.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll of the products have to be made or designed by the stall holder. I\u2019ve had over 145 applicants and have had to decline 50 to ensure the market upholds its reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whether you\u2019re wanting to spend big or small she said from gourmet food to high-end shopping, people often travel from afar to attend.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s something for everyone. I\u2019ve got nine food vendors as well as Mt Duneed\u2019s amazing caf\u00e9. We had around 4,000 people attend out last market, and I\u2019m pretty consistent \u2013 people come knowing they\u2019re going to have a great day

Ms Lear said a gold coin donation for parking will be donated to River\u2019s Gift.<\/p>\n
