PENNANT season is reaching its last home and away games with the Club still well positioned to contest the finals of Division 3 in both the Saturday and Midweek competitions.<\/p>\n

The last of the Alcoa Fours annual tournament was won by the Anglesea team of Lew Wilson, Jill Wilson, Graeme Mathias and Noel Johns with Alan Sampson\u2019s Torquay team showing great form to be runners up in a tournament they have won several times over many years.<\/p>\n

The Club is holding a free social bowls day for members as a thank you for all the effort put in during a very busy season. This will be on Thursday April 4 at 1pm, and all members are welcome.<\/p>\n

The 2019 Invitation Classic Triples has been rescheduled to March 31, and March and April promise a strong programme of social and feature bowling events.<\/p>\n

Well done to the Clubs Mixed Triples Championship winners Leon Wilson, Rob Miner and Deb Clancy. Graeme Mathias won
\nthe 2019 Men\u2019s President\u2019s Handicap, the Men\u2019s 100 up is currently underway and the Ladies Pairs and President\u2019s Handicap events are also in progress.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to recent social bowls winners: Peter Gordon, Helmut Klein, Terry Hope, Graham Boardman and Graeme Marks.<\/p>\n

BOWLS SCHEDULE<\/strong>
\nAnyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the Club.<\/p>\n

Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (1.00pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11.00am by noticeboard entry, phone or email.<\/p>\n

Casual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.<\/p>\n

Friday Social: Afternoon Practice. Happy Hour, Raffle, Members Draw and Meals from 5pm.<\/p>\n
