The council adopted the Torquay Town Centre Urban Design Framework (UDF) in December 2017, subject to an investigation to the option to further rezone land in those two areas. However, according to a report presented to councillors at their February meeting, Michael Connell and Associates conclude that \u201cgiven the combination of supply and demand factors, there is not a strong demand for office use in the proposed Bristol Road and Pearl Street sites and therefore no need for a rezoning to support this\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Talk to recall Osborne\u00a0<\/strong><strong>House\u2019s World War I\u00a0<\/strong><strong>history<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>THE Geelong Museum Association will present a talk about the Convalescent Nurses of Osborne House 1917-1919 this weekend as part of their \u201cSunday Series\u201d of talks.
