Works are scheduled from 8pm to 5am, weather permitting. The works will be under traffic management with lane closures. Minor delays are expected. All drivers should adhere to the 40kmh speed limit throughout the work<br \/>\nsite for the safety of our workers and all road users. For the latest traffic information around the state, head to traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or download the VicTraffic app via your app store. If you see any hazards on our roads, please report them to the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre on 13 11 70, open 24\/7. In an emergency, phone Triple Zero (000).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorne Country Club to host\u00a0<\/strong><strong>golf tournament<\/strong><br \/>\nTHE Lorne Country Club will host the 2019 Great Ocean Road Ambrose Tournament on April 19. The tournament will have two events &#8211; an 18-Hole 4 person mixed Ambrose \u2013 shotgun start at 12.30pm (All players must have Australian handicap), entry $360 per team; and a 9 Hole 4 person mixed Ambrose \u2013 shotgun start at 9.30am (Non-handicap players welcome \u2013 max 27), entry $180 per team. The total trophy pool is valued at $2,000. Finger food before and after golf all included in entry fee. The day will conclude at around 5.30pm and family and friends are welcome for the presentations and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GBN breakfast to discuss\u00a0<\/strong><strong>growth<\/strong><br \/>\nCITY of Greater Geelong director of planning and development Gareth Smith will be the guest speaker at the next Geelong Business Network breakfast, which will be about \u201cplanning for sustainable development\u201d and will be held next month. The event host will be People@Work manager Louise Rau, who will explore the close links between development and employment opportunities and growth. Member for Western Victoria Gayle Tierney said the new funding round for the Veterans Capital Works Grant Program would help eligible organisations fund facility improvements, so they can provide better support and services to their members. Interested organisations can apply for up to $50,000 through the Veterans<br \/>\nMinor Capital Works Grant Program or up to $200,000 through the Veterans Major Capital Works Grant Program. Grant applications close on July 4.
