{"id":2440,"date":"2017-11-06T06:37:27","date_gmt":"2017-11-06T06:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=2440"},"modified":"2018-01-30T17:39:16","modified_gmt":"2018-01-30T06:39:16","slug":"torquay-community-enterprise-grants-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/living\/torquay-community-enterprise-grants-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Torquay Community Enterprise grants now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Torquay Community Enterprise has been established to support local sporting organisations, not-for-profit organisations, events, the arts, disability, youth, aged, the environment, community safety and major projects.<\/p>\n<p>The Torquay Branch of the Bendigo Bank contributes to the Torquay Community Enterprise.<\/p>\n<p>Funding is administered by an independent volunteer board of directors who are all local community members.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are welcome from clubs, associations and groups located in Torquay, Jan Juc, Bellbrae, Freshwater Creek and Connewarre areas.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for grants up to $2,000 can be made by downloading an application from the TCE website at torquaycommunityenterprise.org.au.<\/p>\n<p>All applications must meet these criteria to be considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local community (postcodes 3228, 3227, 3216) is the target beneficiary<\/li>\n<li>Project is not currently funded or able to access funds from other sources and has an ABN<\/li>\n<li>Applicant is able to use the funding within the required timeframe and provide acquittal details<\/li>\n<li>Applicant is willing to recognise TCE as the provider of funds with appropriate signage, advertising or newsletter acknowledgements<\/li>\n<li>Applicant is able to be present at the TCE Grant Handover presentation at Surf Coast Hotel at 5.30pm on Thursday November 30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE Torquay Community Enterprise has been established to support local sporting organisations, not-for-profit organisations, events, the arts, disability, youth, aged, the environment, community safety and major projects.
