It\u2019s time to celebrate! Nazareth Catholic Primary School\u2019s 40th Anniversary.<\/p>\n
Nazareth school has been at the heart of the Grovedale community since 1979.<\/p>\n
We are now celebrating 40 years of Catholic Education and want to share a little of what takes place.<\/p>\n
This year has provided us with the opportunity to continue to focus on our students\u2019 knowledge, understanding and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
We continue to be a lighthouse school for Reading through the Fountas & Pinell Literacy program.<\/p>\n
Literacy expertise is shared during facilitated planning with staff to improve learning outcomes for students.<\/p>\n
Our involvement in the \u2018Big Write\u2019 has also provided our staff with expertise and professional learning in the area of writing.<\/p>\n
We recognise that learning involves risk- taking, opportunities to share possible solutions and a \u2018so now what do we think\u2019 attitude.<\/p>\n
Provocations are used to depth thinking and understanding.<\/p>\n
We currently extend our children\u2019s love of learning through our Specialist program of Italian, STEM, The Arts and Library.<\/p>\n
The students\u2019 creativity, problem solving and opportunity to say \u2018what if\u2019 is truly brought to life in these areas.<\/p>\n
