SATURDAY June 1 \u2013 Men Medal (Blue Tees) Ladies Stableford (Ladies Challenge Rd 6) (Red Tees). Men: Medal day today for the Men. Stroke off the Blue tees in mild conditions, which saw three countback wins in a day of tight competition. In A Grade, Peter Brooks [-1] took out the competition and gained himself another monthly medal in the process, finishing on Nett 70. Runner up went to Simon Burriss [5] on Nett 70. B Grade went to the man in form Gavin Sheahan [15] on Nett 71, with a countback win over Basher Moreau [16]. C Grade saw George Richards [25] on Nett 72 win, with Dom Lombardi [25] also finishing on Nett 72. The ball pool ran down the line to Nett 74, with Alex Makkreel (5th), Rodney Brooks (7th), Bill Fawkes (13th) and Mike Fleming (17th) taking home the nearest to pins. The ladies played Stableford off the Red Tees. Linda Turner [19] came out on top with 38 points and Kerry Bond [10] close behind on 37 points.<\/p>\n

The ball pool ran down the line to 35 points, with Marg Hales (17th) taking home the nearest to pin.<\/p>\n

Sunday June 2 \u2013 Stableford Medley (White and Yellow Tees). Members and visitors out nice and early for the competition today in very still conditions. Weather turned cold and wet after lunch, conditions very touch for the afternoon golfers. The winner today for the Medley was Mitch Todd (15), with a great score of 41 points. Coming in second was Luke Matthews (21) with a score of 39 points, the ball pool ran down the line to 37 points.<\/p>\n
