THE Celtic spirit was alive and well at the weekend when thousands of people converged on Portarlington to share music and laughter.<\/p>\n

The National Celtic Festival showcased some of the world\u2019s most culturally rich performers in concert, workshops, sessions and cross-disciplinary community art projects.<\/p>\n

There were also theatre and spoken word events, competitions, forums, singing sessions, dances, gatherings, pipe bands, and markets for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The program offered a diverse range of art forms, along with the many interpretations of Celtic and folk culture in the picturesque seaside setting.<\/p>\n
