TUESDAY was our ladies Medal day and with the wind howling and light rain falling our brave girls headed out with all their winter wear looking more like they were heading for the snow slopes rather than the golf course!<\/p>\n
Ronnie Beacom took out this month\u2019s Medal with 78 and was also our A Grade winner. B Grade went to Wendy Poyner with 72. Gay Bell was our resort winner scoring an impressive 37 points. Gill Patten won the 9-hole competition 15 points. Best putting for this week was Lesley Thornton and Lyndsey Dunstan. NTPs Rosemary Reyntjes, Shelly Clark, Wendy Poyner and Lesley Grebe hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n
Wednesday A Grade winner Darren Looker shot +4. B Grade went to Santo Giallo with the score of the day +6. Alan Scholten took out C Grade scoring +4 and D Grade was taken out by Alan Foss on +3. Robert Muffet scored an eagle on the 2nd and Steve Menegazzo on the 18th. Resort winner Daryl Sceney had +3. NTPs Bruce Dyer, Peter Orwin, John Corcoran, Bob Gough, Barry Hewitt and Errol Morris hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n
Friday Paul Ross shot 42 points to win for A Grade. Trevor Carter also had 42 points to take out B Grade. Barbara Young Harding won the ladies with 32 points. NTPs Geoff Davie, Deb Shoesmith, Barbara Young-Harding, Nick Brady and Bern Farrelly hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n
Saturday Ross Bottomley had 38 points to win for A Grade. B Grade went to John Laidlaw with 37 points. C Grade winner Ward Szymczak also had 37 points and D Grade was won by Jim Cairns with yet another 37 points. Looks like that was the
\nscore of the day for 3 of our Grade winners. Sue Booth took out the ladies with 34 points. Resort winner Roy Ball shot 44 points and our guest win went to Stephen Prendeville (Spring Valley GC) 40 points. Ben Thomas had an eagle on the 18th and Congratulations to Tony Cosgrave shooting a hole in one on the 12th. NTPs Graeme Sharp, Kathy Naoumidis, Deb Shoesmith, John Mahoney, Gary Watson, Tony Cosgrave, Gary Taylor and Peter Rees with a close shot hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n
Sunday we hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunny days for the long weekend. We had 67 players in our mixed competition today with Graham Travers taking out A Grade with 41 points. Greg Zuccala shot 38 points and was our B Grade
\nwinner. Guest winner Peter Harold (The National GC) had 37 points. NTPs Arthur Crofts, Rodger Thomas 7 Jenn Conn hit the jackpot (Go girls) it was nice to see one of lady members taking out the jackpot pin today.<\/p>\n
