Since 2013, Ocean Grind have been roasting and supplying specialty coffee for homes, cafes and shops along the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n
Over the past couple of years their coffee roastery\/caf\u00e9 has become a bit of a haven away from the busier parts of Torquay.<\/p>\n
Aside from their delicious coffee, they have food trucks on site and have tasty snacks from That Place Patisserie and Manuko.<\/p>\n
Their unique space is a great spot to hang out and enjoy a quiet coffee with friends or have a quick match on the ping pong table.<\/p>\n
The latest addition is the glass \u201croasting room\u201d showcasing their new 15kg roaster.<\/p>\n
Quality is the main priority here and the friendly team also love chatting with customers about their home coffee needs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe like to make coffee approachable for everyone and help advise people how to improve their coffee at home, as well as encouraging customers to try different origins or brew methods,\u201d owner Mark Clatworthy said.<\/p>\n
The shop area contains the full range of coffee blends, plus a range of coffee making equipment for your home or travels, along with a range of accessories.<\/p>\n
They also offer barista training classes and host events such as the popular Twilight Markets.<\/p>\n
Ocean Grind have a strong sustainability ethos and provide discounts for BYO coffee cups and BYO containers for beans, as well as organising monthly beach clean-ups.<\/p>\n
