Dan Tudor has lived and worked in the area for five years, and specialises in vehicle wrapping and \u201cout of the box\u201d creative signage.<\/p>\n
He began his career as a traditional sign writing apprentice in 1996 for Landells Signs in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe industry went through a major change in the early 2000s where digital printing began to take over the industry,\u201d Dan said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was at this time that I put myself through night school to formally study graphic design.<\/p>\n
This lead me out of the signage industry altogether
\n– I found myself employed by Kincrome Quality
\nTools as a product packaging graphic designer for
\na few years.<\/p>\n
\u201cI then worked as a freelance designer for some major agencies in Melbourne for a few years before landing a signage role at Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Resort in Canada for another three years between 2007-2010.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn 2010 I moved back to Melbourne to accept a production manager role for the Grafico Group – who were major pioneers in the vehicle wrapping industry – which is where I polished my skills as a vehicle wrapper.<\/p>\n
\u201cI then moved to the Surf Coast in 2014 as a signage and vehicle wrapping sub-contractor, working for various companies in Geelong and Torquay, and founded Tudor.Co Custom Signage in September 2015.\u201d<\/p>\n
