Ten-string guitarist Matthew Fagan will journey to Apollo Bay this Sunday to perform Espana El Vito \u2013 The Spirit of Spain and Latin America at St Aidan\u2019s Anglican Church.<\/p>\n
Having toured with Billy Connolly, The Buena Vista Social Club, Shirley Bassey, Michael Crawford and Natalie Cole, Matthew has established himself as one of Australia\u2019s finest guitarists.<\/p>\n
Coming off the back of his tour in Edinburgh, Spain and Italy, the internationally acclaimed talent will present a must-see performance of Spanish flamenco and classical guitar.<\/p>\n
Matthew\u2019s inaugural vinyl 12-inch LP titled El Vito will also be launched at the event, marking the first new Spanish guitar vinyl released in Australia in three decades.<\/p>\n
Accompanied by guest singer Kellie Grace, the show will feature the colourful and rhythmic sounds from famous composers including Isaac Albeniz, Manuel De Falla and Joaquin Rodrigo.<\/p>\n
Highlights from Matthew\u2019s career and original albums will also be at the heart of the celebration, with the guitarist\u2019s televised arrangement of Bach\u2019s Tocatta in the line-up.<\/p>\n
Tickets to Matthew\u2019s show are $25 per person or $20 for concession-card holders (pre-purchased). Children under 16 can attend free if accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are available on the door at $5 extra per ticket (subject to availability).<\/p>\n
St Aidan\u2019s Anglican Church is located at 23 Nelson Street, Apollo Bay.<\/p>\n
