After round two was cancelled last week, winter conditions were at their best for round three of the classic. Some great scoring from the members playing off the white tees. Dave Jenson (9) played some outstanding winter golf getting Kieth Rixon (18) on a count-back both on 41 great to see Keith back in some hot form. Glen Lochhead (11) still on top of the leader board played<br \/>\nwell also and carded 39 points adding to his points total from his round one win on 4000 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday June 20<\/strong> \u2013 Ladies Stableford (Gold Tees). No competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday June 22 \u2013<\/strong> Men\u2019s and Ladies Par (Blue and Red Tees) (8th Round Cam Muller Order Of Merit). Solid winter conditions out there for the weekend with frosty mornings clearing up mid-morning and conditions pretty good for scoring with not much. Most of the field played in the morning on both days. The course is still quite wet and preferred lies are in<br \/>\nplay through the green. Please read below for all the weekends action. Men: Grade A: Jason Cranny [7] still in great form, with a top score of +3 on a count back from long hitting Dave Parker [10] +3. Grade B: Trav Agg [12] took his indoor form outdoors and carded a great score +3 from Chirs Baldock [15] +1. Grade C: Club favourite Dom Lombardi [24] +4 from Paul<br \/>\nBarrett [33] -1. Nearest Pin: P Sexton (5th). Nearest Pin: A Makkreel (7th). Nearest Pin: G JONES (13th). Nearest Pin: T Beggs (17th). DSR: 73.0. Ladies: A small but talented field for the ladies Saturday comp, Linda Turner [19] continues her solid form taking out the comp on +1 from Marg Hales [10] -1. Nearest Pin: D Cox (17th). DSR: 74.0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday June 23<\/strong> \u2013 Stableford Medley (Blue and Red Tees). Great to see Gail Kruger [22] return to form on 38 points from new member Ivor Javen [32] who played his first comp on 36 points.
