Another cold and wintery week has been and gone at Curlewis. Just as the rain seems to subside for a little while we get the wind at full force. Conditions were awfully tough for the majority of the week as this was reflected in the scoring. Any score that is close to handicap would prove not to be too far off the pace. Hopefully some nice weather is just around the corner. The golf club was lucky enough to host the annual Jack Donaldson district trophy on Sunday July 14. It was great to see such a wide range of clubs from the district represented. Despite tough conditions the local hero Greg Bishop playing off a 3 handicap shot an impressive round of 39 Stableford points! A big congratulations to Greg! He also scored himself a spot in the 2020 Victorian Open Proam at 13th Beach.<\/p>\n
