TORQUAY business Braille Sign Supplies recently won Regional Business of the Year at the Geelong Business Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n
Braille Sign Supplies were also finalists in the \u201cAdvanced Manufacturing and Industry\u201d and \u201cInnovation Research and Development\u201d categories.<\/p>\n
The business has enjoyed significant growth in recent years, and now has signage in airports, universities and hospitals across the country, and even signs in Parliament House.<\/p>\n
Yet they also maintain a local focus, having recently worked on signs for Jan Juc Life Saving Club, the Armstrong Creek shopping centre and the Surf Coast Shire.<\/p>\n
Director Travis Ashford said he was flattered by receiving the award.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe always work hard,\u201d Mr Ashford said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it\u2019s nice to get some formal recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n
