THE prestigious Quay2 residential property development in Torquay has reached an impressive 500 sales of land and townhomes since its launch three years ago.<\/p>\n

Intrapac Property COO Maxwell Shifman said that it has been a dream project to work on because they had the benefit of creating Quay2 by building on all the knowledge from their highly successful The Quay development.<\/p>\n

The Quay received the UDIA Award for Excellence for Residential Development, and Quay2 recently saw two homes in its display village, Metricon\u2019s Bohemian 29 and Sinclair Homes\u2019 Adeline 25, being recognised at the June 2019 Master Builder Awards.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to reach this sales milestone, but we are even happier that the purchasers who have already moved in are enjoying their home and new community,\u201d Mr Shifman said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur philosophy over the past 30 years has been to build real communities, not just subdivide land.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the lucky purchasers is Suzie Cammarera, a children\u2019s ward nurse, who moved into her new home with her husband three months ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love the fact that everything is really close,\u201d says Ms Cammarera.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Saturday, I wandered down to Caf\u00e9 El Nido for amazing coffee, then walked to the Farmer\u2019s Market and then to Bunnings to get a key cut.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love that I can walk everywhere, because where we lived in Torquay previously, we had to get in the car to get anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Suzie has lived in Torquay for 22 years, raising her son (now 19) and daughter (23), but still likes the fact there will be parks, playgrounds and a community orchard within the estate.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is new and tidy and the homes near us are all nice with a good mix of older couples and young families,\u201d Ms Cammarera says.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe developments in Torquay are getting further away, we\u2019re happy to still have an ocean view and to be able to walk to the beach.\u201d<\/p>\n
