Participants raise much needed funds to help the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safe bike riding environment in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The event begins on Saturday, September 14 with the Amy&#8217;s Gravel Fondo and Amy&#8217;s Walll events. There will be road closures at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Allenvale Road, Lorne from 9am-3pm<\/li>\n<li>Benwerrin-Mount Sabine Road between Erskine Falls Road and Cowley Track from 9am-3pm<\/li>\n<li>Bay Street in Lorne between Mountjoy Parade and Charles Street from 2.30-8pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Sunday, September 15, the Great Ocean Road will be closed in both directions between Lorne and Apollo Bay from 9am-3.30pm for Amy\u2019s Gran Fondo, Amy\u2019s Family Fondo and Amy\u2019s Medio Fondo events. Road closures will also be in place at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deans Marsh-Lorne Road between the Great Ocean Road and Birregurra-Deans Marsh Road from 7-10.30am<\/li>\n<li>Birregurra-Deans Marsh Road between Deans Marsh-Lorne Road and Birregurra-Forrest Road from 7.30-11am<\/li>\n<li>Birregurra-Forrest Road between Birregurra-Deans Marsh Road and Colac-Forrest Road between 8.30am-noon<\/li>\n<li>Forrest-Apollo Bay Road between Colac-Forrest Road and Skenes Creek Road between 9am-1.30pm<\/li>\n<li>Skenes Creek Road between Forrest-Apollo Bay Road and the Great Ocean Road between 9am-2pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drivers must obey all road rules and follow the instructions of Victoria Police and traffic controllers along the course.
