IN 1962, Nunzio Sulfaro arrived in Australia from Italy. He was driven by passion and a desire to produce the very best in handcrafted, upholstered furniture.<\/p>\n

From the early days, Nunzio Sulfaro and his family have created a classic and iconic brand of furniture which features true European style, premium quality and exquisite design \u2013 Sulfaro.<\/p>\n

Located in Mitcham, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, Sulfaro boasts an expansive showroom.<\/p>\n

The family handcraft and manufacture furniture from the factory, studio and workshop at the same location, with all furniture created and completed on site.<\/p>\n

From templates and designs, to framing, upholstery, cushioning and finishing, each process follows the same standards which were established over 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

These tried and true methodologies have been handed down through generations to Nunzio, and now lie in the hands of his own family.<\/p>\n

Sulfaro still produce superb high-quality upholstered furniture, focussing on luxury, supreme comfort and elegant design.<\/p>\n

For customers, there is a very different experience on offer. The Sulfaro Collection \u2013 which can be viewed online \u2013 covers traditional, contemporary and modern design.<\/p>\n

Customers can select their design of choice, then choose the fabrics, leather, colours and accompaniments such as cushioning, skirting, fringe, piping and timber finishes.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, each piece can be as individual as you are.<\/p>\n

Clients are invited to call and schedule their visit to make a time to discuss their needs with Amelia Sulfaro and her design team.<\/p>\n

In considering your furniture and interior design, clients are encouraged to bring their floor plans, photos, samples and ideas to ensure their new furniture is exactly to their tastes and needs.<\/p>\n
