{"id":30606,"date":"2019-10-03T08:00:57","date_gmt":"2019-10-02T22:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=30606"},"modified":"2019-10-02T14:15:58","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T04:15:58","slug":"regional-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/real-estate\/regional-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"Villawood launches Coridale land sales office in new Lara West Growth Precinct"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>VILLAWOOD Properties\u2019 new upmarket Coridale residential community, at Lara West, is officially open for business with the launch of its sales office on Patullos Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Coridale, the first arrival in the Lara West growth corridor, will host more than 1,100 homes on an 89-hectare site bordered by Patullos, O\u2019Halloran\u2019s and Windermere roads \u2013 one of the most dynamic regions in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The community will feature a trademark Villawood luxury residents\u2019 club with swimming pools, a gymnasium, multi-sports courts, parents\/child area, a function room and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoridale will lift the standard of Lara,\u201d Villawood executive director Rory Costelloe said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere has been some nice housing and some nice wetlands but our club with all its facilities will lift Lara to another level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will raise Coridale head and shoulders above its competitors and it will give the new community a real people focus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will be a great place for parents and kids to make new friends \u2013 to socialise, to play, and to keep fit and healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Coridale Land Sales office was launched last month with a family and friends day, complete with jumping castle, petting zoo, mini-golf, live entertainment, wood-fired pizzas, coffee cart and cupcakes.<\/p>\n<p>For early-bird buyers and interested parties, it was a chance to meet their future neighbours well before moving in.<\/p>\n<p>Villawood will host more community activities prior to building beginning so that newcomers to the greenfields site can make friends before they arrive.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Costelloe said Coridale\u2019s impact would echo that of Villawood\u2019s entry at Armstrong Creek between Geelong and the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Armstrong Mount Duneed development had significantly raised the bar in that growth corridor, forcing other developers to step up to compete.<\/p>\n<p>The Coridale project will make up around 20 per cent of the Lara West precinct\u2019s total complement of 6000 new homes.<\/p>\n<p>Coridale\u2019s location at Lara offered the best of rural and city life, Mr Costelloe said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are the only developer with planning permit approved in the Lara West precinct structure plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe achieved this in August and are pushing hard to start construction before Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be a good standard of housing for people who have pride in their own property and who care for their neighbours, which forms a safer and happier community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoridale is close to services, transport, shopping, health, education, sports and entertainment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has schools, medical centres, a new shopping centre, sports grounds, a hotel and numerous sports clubs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoridale is less than 20 minutes from Geelong and its CBD and all the services of Victoria\u2019s second biggest city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Coridale\u00a0Land\u00a0Sales Office is located at 155 Patullos Road.
