The Warralily Christmas Spectacular is on this Saturday, November 30 at Mirambeena Park, Warralily Boulevard, Armstrong Creek from 3-8pm.<\/p>\n

In its sixth year, the popular Christmas event will be bigger and better than ever with an exciting entertainment line-up and the inclusion of carnival rides for the first time.<\/p>\n

The event will begin with a Welcome to Country ceremony at 3pm, followed by singing and dancing from local school groups on centre stage plus Christmasthemed entertainment and craft at Santa\u2019s Magical Garden.<\/p>\n

Santa\u2019s Magical Garden is a celebration of all things Christmas \u2013 Santa, elves, reindeer, a Christmas tree and even a South Pole post box. A photographer will also be on hand to capture magic moments of the kids with Santa.<\/p>\n

Children will be mesmerised by the Krazy Koala Puppet Show that combines colourful puppets, rhythmic music and an engaging narrative to entertain and educate. Kids can learn circus skills and the excitement of live performance at interactive workshops and a kids\u2019 comedy circus show by Bepop Circus.<\/p>\n

The Bestchance Armstrong Creek and Messy Creek craft space will be another favourite destination for active minds, with the chance to create Christmas decorations, write a letter to Santa or make Christmas gifts. Craft will have a focus on sustainability and recycling to create new art.<\/p>\n

Great fun will be had on carnival rides including the dodgems, Jurassic-themed jumping castle, giant slide, obstacle course, train, balloon basket ride, bungee tramps, pirate ship and cyclone spin out. Purchase a ride wristband for unlimited rides or single ride tickets will be available. Proceeds from ride ticket sales will go towards making this a sustainable annual community event.<\/p>\n

Once the little ones have burnt off some steam, settle down on your picnic rug with food and sweets from the catering vans and enjoy an evening of Christmas cheer by a line-up of talented artists from 5-8pm. Headline act The Teeny Tiny Stevies, the ARIAnominated \u201cpassion project\u201d of sisters Sibylla and Beth from folk-pop band The Little Stevies, will play songs from their popular album, Useful Songs for Little People, along with some fun and funky Christmas carols.<\/p>\n

The concert will also feature the big soulful voice and bold pop stylings of local singer, Libby Steel. Plus, there\u2019ll be carols with talented musician Georgia Nichols and by the Salvation Army Band.<\/p>\n

The finale will include the raffle draw by a special guest, who will be joined by Santa himself to turn on the Christmas tree lights.<\/p>\n

The Spectacular is made possible by a dedicated team from the Warralily Residents Association with support from the developer, local businesses and more than 50 volunteers.<\/p>\n
