A PRIDE of friendly volunteers occupied Gilbert Street last Friday to fundraise for the communities affected by Australia\u2019s recent bushfires.<\/p>\n

The Torquay Lions Club stationed their portable barbecue out the front of Bendigo Bank\u2019s Torquay branch to raise money for the bank\u2019s bushfire appeal, which was created in partnership with The Salvation Army.<\/p>\n

Surf Coast Quality Meats donated sausages on the day, while Ryan\u2019s IGA supplied other essentials.<\/p>\n
