WITH summer in full swing, Hayden Real Estate Torquay has had great sales results for the month of January, according to sales manager Wayne Mackay.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have experienced an amazing rate of sales during January covering the full spectrum from land in Grovedale at $152,000 to a sale on The Esplanade over $2.1 million,\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Mackay said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith sales at the rate of one per day across all price ranges, this is a true indicator of how strong the coastal market is.<\/p>\n
\u201cAn advantage of strong activity across all price ranges move to buy and sell knowing that if they want to upsize, downsize or build, their property will sell in a reasonable time frame.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis of course brings more properties on the market for sale and gives buyers a wider choice of homes to choose from.<\/p>\n
\u201cLand continues to sell exceptionally well with Zeally Sands and Surf View Estate all but sold out.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach of these estates will have new releases shortly and release dates.\u201d<\/p>\n
At Anglesea, over what is normally the most hectic time of year for tourists and holidaymakers over the Christmas period, they were faced with the unnerving threat This hampered many events and holidays that the town welcomes annually along the Great Ocean Road, Hayden\u2019s Marius Tekin said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother notable fact for Anglesea is that the days on market has decreased to 97, falling by nearly a month over the last six months.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is due particularly to the lower levels of stock and the consistent demand for property in Anglesea from buyers made up of 30 per cent locals and 70 per cent from Melbourne.<\/p>\n
