{"id":36157,"date":"2020-03-26T08:38:26","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T22:38:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=36157"},"modified":"2020-03-26T09:48:19","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T23:48:19","slug":"gorcc-closes-caravan-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/news\/gorcc-closes-caravan-parks\/","title":{"rendered":"GORCC closes all its caravan parks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Great Ocean Road Coast Committee (GORCC) has temporarily closed its Torquay Foreshore, Anglesea Family and Lorne Foreshore Caravan Parks as of midnight last night, following a directive from the Chief Health Officer.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on its website, GORCC said its actions followed further restrictions on domestic and international travel because of the coronavirus pandemic, with all non-essential travel banned.<\/p>\n<p>No further bookings will be taken at any GORCC caravan parks, and all existing bookings up until August 31 will be cancelled and refunded in full.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our caravan park teams are in the process of advising current guests that they are required to leave the park.
