TERTIARY students across Australia have named Deakin as the country’s number one public university for the overall student experience, marking the institution’s four-year reign as Victoria’s top university.<\/p>\n
The accolade came with the results of the 2019 Student Experience Survey, which asked students for feedback on their overall education experience and the university’s teaching quality, learning resources, student support and skills development.<\/p>\n
Deakin also rated well across other areas of the survey, totalling a 91.2 per cent satisfaction score for learning resources, an 83.6 per cent rating for teaching quality and a further 83.2 per cent for skills development.<\/p>\n
Deakin vice-chancellor Professor Iain Martin said the results were an endorsement from students and reflected the university’s commitment to student-centred learning.<\/p>\n
“It is evidence of Deakin’s university-wide commitment to a high quality experience for all students from their initial exposure to the university through to graduation.”<\/p>\n
The most popular courses at Deakin for 2020 include Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Bachelor of Psychological Science, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Education (Primary), Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Health Sciences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
