IT\u2019S BUSINESS as usual at Hope\u2019s City to Surf Painting, with the team taking the relevant precautions in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Based in Torquay and servicing the Surf Coast, Bellarine and wider Geelong region, the Hopes have been in the painting industry for more than eight decades.<\/p>\n

Owned by husband and wife Shayne and Shari-Anne Hope, Shayne began his career working for the family business before branching out on his own in 1993 with City to Surf Painting.<\/p>\n

In 2011, the couple took over Hope\u2019s Painting and merged the two business ventures together to create Hope\u2019s City to Surf Painting.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy grandfather\u00a0Erwin (Joey) Hope\u00a0first began providing professional painting services in 1934 and not long after started the Hopes Painting business,\u201d Shayne said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 1968, my father Robert Hope\u00a0followed in his father\u2019s footsteps and continued the Hopes Painting tradition for the next 33 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the 33 years, dad apprenticed his four sons Darryn, Joel, Justyn and me, teaching us how to produce a high-quality painting finish as well as\u00a0property maintenance and repairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shayne and Shari-Anne\u2019s daughter, Danielle, has been assisting with administration and quoting since 2015.<\/p>\n

With a wealth of experience in the trade, Shayne\u2019s love for the job and dedication to the craft is based on a client-centred focus.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the transformation of a house in despair to a state of magnificence which we know will give many years of enjoyment to our happy customers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can assist our customers with interior and exterior painting services for residential and property maintenance requirements. We also work on major industrial\/commercial building or refurbishment projects with our painters, working closely with project managers, builders and architects to establish the right painting products are used to ensure the longevity of the finish.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hope\u2019s City to Surf Painting is a Dulux-accredited painter, offering a five-year warranty to all clients. Shayne and his team hold verified painting licences as well as public liability insurance.<\/p>\n

The business also offers free, no-obligation quotes to all clients and discounted rates over winter.<\/p>\n

New jobs locked in for July to September will get up to five per cent discount off exterior painting (or up to 10 per cent off interior painting) if this article is mentioned upon booking.<\/p>\n
