The newly developed Armstrong Creek Town Centre opened today to an excited but socially distanced crowd.<\/p>\n

Former Essendon footballer and current Wel.Co managing director Andrew Welsh said he was \"incredibly happy to have opened stage one\".<\/p>\n

The precinct includes a Coles and Liquorland, Anytime Fitness, Terry White Chemmart, Beauty Genesis, Coral Massage, Tattslotto and Overtime Espresso. More retailers are also expected to open in the near future.<\/p>\n

Coles Armstrong Creek store manager Paul Clark said the community would benefit greatly from the new centre.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve hired 78 new team members -- most of whom are from Armstrong Creek and surrounding suburbs. They\u2019re really enthusiastic to get going and to show locals what all the fuss is about.\u201d<\/p>\n
