K rock 95.5 is excited and maybe even a little bit frightened to announce a new weekend breakfast show to wake up Geelong and the Surf Coast.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Popular Geelong duo Andy Sunderland and Ben Toyne, who came to fame appearing as \u201cBest Mate\u201d contestants on the 2016 season of Channel 9\u2019s The Block, will join the K rock family hosting a new show airing 8am till 10am Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Andy and Ben are set to bring their unique sense of humour, energy and love for Geelong to K rock across the busy summer period from this Saturday.<\/p>\n

Covering everything from what\u2019s making news, to what\u2019s happening in Geelong, the show will be a light-hearted and fun way to wake up on the weekend.<\/p>\n

K rock content director James Speed said he was super excited to welcome Andy and Ben to weekend radio on K rock.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis new weekend show, over what will be a very busy summer period, will be sure to get Geelong talking,\u201d James said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndy and Ben are a very enthusiastic pair and from the second I met them I knew I had to get them on air.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis show will be a fresh, exciting, fun and an energetic way to wake up on the weekend and I can\u2019t wait for the boys to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n
